- Color printer
- Paper cutter or scissors
- Treats to fill the bags
- Staples or tape
- Halloween treat bag toppers
How to Use Halloween Treat Bag Toppers
Print these on a color printer on 8.5×11″ white cardstock for the best results. Select “Actual Size” in the printer settings before printing to ensure the correct sizing of the printed out bag toppers.
Once the toppers are printed out, it is best to use a straight paper cutter to cut them out to achieve a clean finish. However, scissors will work just fine if you don’t have one. You could also use a Cricut Print then Cut to cut out many of them.
Fill a sandwich or cellophane bag with treats. You can put anything you want in the bags. Some ideas for bag fillers are:
Traditional Candy – Candy corn, miniature chocolate bars, and other Halloween classics.
Healthy Treats – Consider filling your bags with trail mix, dried fruits, or granola for a healthier Halloween.
Toys and Trinkets – Small toys like spider rings, erasers shaped like ghosts or pumpkins, and other fun little knick-knacks are always a hit.
Craft Supplies – Offer Halloween-themed craft supplies like stickers, colored pencils, or mini activity books.
Homemade Goodies – You could use the bags for baked goods like Easy Spider Cookies or Easy Frankenstein Halloween Decorated Cookies. They would be so cute for a fall bake sale. Or put in some non-edibles like homemade slime or play dough in Halloween colors.
Once the bags are full, close the bags securely. If using cellophane treat bags, fold the top 1-2 times. Then, fold the treat bag topper over the top of the treat bag. Staple it securely over the top.
