Candy Apple Twister Halloween Party Game

- Cardstock
- Plastic straw
- Metal brad
Optional supplies:
- Laminator (you can laminate the candy apples so they last longer)
- Plastic table cloth

Halloween Twister Game Assembly Directions:
Download all the pieces of the Halloween twister game to your computer. Print out the spinner board and arrow on cardstock.
First, cut out the arrow. Next, cut a straw to the length of the arrow. Attach the arrow to the straw and spinner board with a brad. Make sure it is loose enough so there is room for the arrow to spin. This is now your spinner board to play the game.
Next, print out the candy apples on cardstock. You will need to print 4 of each color candy apple: red, orange, green and purple.
You can print and then cut them out using scissors. But to make the project super easy, you can use the “print and cut” function on a Cricut Explore Air 2. We love our Cricut machine. We have made so many fun projects with it. It’s very easy to use even if you aren’t super “crafty.”
To cut the apples out on the Cricut, you will use the “Print and Cut” method. After some trial and error, we found that you can cut out 3 apples on 1 sheet of cardstock. Since you need 16 total apples, you will end up with one single apple on the last sheet. When you sign up for our newsletter, we will send you the links to the apples in Cricut Design Space.
Open Cricut Design Space and either upload the candy apple clip art to the program or use our pre-made projects by clicking on the links in the email. Once the design is in your Design Space, hit the “Make It” button. You will first print the template on cardstock from your printer.
After the template is printed, lay the cardstock on a light grip cutting mat. This will probably also work on a normal grip mat.
Load the mat into your Cricut machine and hit the “Cut” button in design space. Let the machine do its work!
After the machine is finished cutting, weed the apples from the cardstock. This is about as easy of a weeding project as you will find.
To set up the game, place apples on the floor into a typical “twister” layout. You can also have some fun and arrange them around the space in whatever shape or order you like.
If you’d prefer to have a game board that can be moved easily, you can glue or tape the apples onto a plastic tablecloth in a twister layout. Just fold and move to play.
To Play Halloween Twister:
1. Choose a “caller.”
2. The caller spins the arrow and calls out directions to see where hands and feet go.
3.If you fall you are “out.”
4. Last person standing wins!
