Paint the Corks
Paint the ends of the corks with muted light green acrylic craft paint using a paintbrush.
Add the hair, eyebrows, and mouth
Download, print, and cut out the FRANKENSTEIN PATTERNS. Trace or pin the patterns to black craft felt and cut them out with scissors.
Glue the zig-zag edge of the hair to the top row of corks.
Fold the felt over the top of the cork rectangle and glue it to the top of the corks.
Finish off Frankensteins’ hair by gluing the remaining felt tabs to the right and left side of the top row of corks.
Create Frankenstein’s Face
Paint the wooden bead with muted light green acrylic craft paint. Set aside to dry and apply a second coat, if necessary.
Paint the two mini wooden spools with silver acrylic craft paint. Let the paint dry and apply a second coat, if necessary. It is possible that you could use large thumbtacks and paint them silver.
Once the bead and spools are dry, create Frankenstein’s face. Glue two googly eyes and his mouth to the front (green part) of the wine corks. Add the eyebrows over the top of the eyes.
Next, glue on the nose (bead) centered just under the eyes.
To finish the Wine Cork Frankenstein, attach the mini wooden spools to the right and left side of Frankenstein with a glue gun and glue sticks.
And that’s it! Your mini-monster is ready to haunt your home, office, or classroom until Halloween arrives.
