What kind of bacon should I use?
- We love nice big thick cut pieces of bacon for breakfast. But they are not the best for cooking bundles asparagus. Pick bacon that is on the medium to the thin side so it’s easy to wrap and won’t take too long to cook.
Air Fryer Bacon Wrapped Asparagus Directions:
Preheat your Air Fryer to 400 degrees. This asparagus pairs well with Air Fryer Steak, which also cooks at 400 degrees. Once your steak is finished cooking, put the bundles in the Air Fryer to cook.
Trim the tough ends off the bottom of the asparagus. You can do this with a knife. You can also gently bend the asparagus ends and they will naturally snap off the tough ends.
In bundles of 5 or so spears, wrap the bacon around the asparagus as tight as possible. Place the bundles in the air fryer basket with the loose ends of the bacon down.
Cook in the air fryer for 10 minutes. You do not need to flip the asparagus at the halfway point. If the bacon comes apart, quickly wrap it back around while it’s still warm.
Remove that asparagus bundles to a platter. Allow the bundles to cool slightly before eating.

- 1 lb asparagus
- 5-6 slices of bacon
Instructions
- Preheat your Air Fryer to 400 degrees.
