This peach vodka martini with lemonade is perfect for relaxing on a warm day. It’s easy and only made with 3 ingredients.
Are you looking for an easy martini to make this spring? Do you become as obsessed with fresh fruit this time of the year as I do?
I have you covered. With the best flavored vodka I’ve ever had.
A couple months ago, I walked into my favorite liquor store (no comments about me having a favorite liquor store). The people there are incredibly nice, and they only stock brands that they’ve tried and loved. While browsing their shelves, I noticed a sweet tea vodka from a brand called Deep Eddy. I’d never heard of them before.
So I asked the lady who works there and she said they make the best brand of vodka she’s ever had. She directed me to the tiny sample bottles she had behind the counter–peach, lemon, cranberry, and grapefruit. She explained that they’re located in Austin, Texas and all of their vodkas are made with real fruit instead of flavoring.
Bonus: they’re only about $3 more expensive than Smirnoff. But they taste like they should be twice the price.
I took the samples home and tasted them. They’re all amazing. But I was loving the peach. First, I poured a shot into some lemonade I already had on hand. It was good, but needed more…peach-y-ness. So I ran out and got some peach martini mix. (I found mine at Wal-Mart.)
The resulting martini was fantastic. It had the fresh taste of lemonade, but with that martini kick we all know and love. The peach vodka, even on its own, is incredibly sweet. And boy can you taste the fruit. It tastes like an actual peach, not that syrup-y flavor you get from other peach-flavored products.
I cannot recommend this vodka highly enough.
How to Make the Easiest 3-Ingredient Lemonade and Peach Vodka Martini
- 8 oz lemonade
- 1 oz peach martini mix
- 2 oz Deep Eddy’s peach vodka
- Pour the martini mix, lemonade, and vodka into a martini shaker with some ice.
- Shake until condensation forms on the outside of the martini shaker.
- Pour into a glass and enjoy!
If you aren’t a fan of martini mix, you can substitute with peach juice.
So if you’re looking for a quintessential spring/summer martini, this is it. Nothing screams, “warm, sunny day” like lemonade. And peach is always a hit this time of year. So why not combine them?
After sampling all the tiny bottles, I went back and bought a regular size of both the peach and the lemon. I have plans for the lemon, as well. 😉 As for the sweet tea, I’m still working on it. But I am dying to taste that one.
