Homemade hard lemonade is easy to make with just a few ingredients. Add a touch of black cherry to make an amazing summer drink.
One of my favorite spring and summer flavor pairings is lemon and blackberry. I've made lemon cupcakes with blackberry frosting (to die for!). I love these easy lemon and blackberry napoleons for a quick summer dessert. I've even made a two ingredient non-alcoholic Blackberry Lemonade.
For this drink I ventured out of black berries and in to black cherries. I've just started cooking more with black cherries. Like Black Cherry Mini Monkey Bread Recipe, which is amazing! But I grew up near cherry farms so summer was always about eating cherries and lots of them.
Combining two summer favorites of black cherries and lemonade makes a delicious cocktail that's great for any summer get together. Just stash the ingredients near the pool and you can mix these up in no time at all.
Making this cocktail couldn't be any easier. It's just a shake and a stir away. It's almost as easy as making a Peach Beermosa – just different flavors.
The lemon flavor is doubled between the lemonade mix and Deep Eddy Lemon Vodka. The lemonade mix helps to add a little sweetness to the drink. Because I do like my drinks on the sweet side. Redd's Wicked Black Cherry Hard Ale adds the black cherry flavor.
In a cocktail shaker add lemonade mix, Deep Eddy's Lemon Vodka, and Redd's Wicked Black Cherry.
Remove the top of from the shaker and stir the cocktail using a cocktail stirrer. Do not shake. You're just getting the lemonade mix to blend in better.
Definitely serve this cocktail on the rocks. The colder the better especially on a hot summer day.
