Try this quick blackberry lemonade recipe made with just 2 easy ingredients for your next impromptu get-together!
Lemonade is a classic summer drink. It’s so popular that we all stop and buy it from kids selling it in their front yards. This summer kick up your lemonade mix with a little bit of blackberry twist. This blackberry lemonade is super easy to make with lemonade and blackberry ginger ale soda.
I actually have a lot of items to use for a last minute party right around my house. I always pick up colored napkins on clearance. I find that white dishes go with everything. I picked up this set with flowers at a resale shop a few years ago. A basket is perfect for holding napkins or cutlery or even snacks. The tray I also bought on clearance and it’s been sitting in front of my sink for a few months holding soap. I bought different sizes and shapes of glasses because they also are easy to incorporate in to any celebration.
For a movie night, I’ll pop up some popcorn and bake up frozen cookie dough. They are so quick and easy. Ā For beverages, I usually have either water or lemonade on hand in warmer weather. Ā One of my favorite combinations is lemon and blackberry. But I don’t have any lemon and blackberry drink recipes.Ā So when I spied our sponsor’s Canada Dry Ginger AleĀ®’s new Blackberry Ginger Ale, I had to pair it up with some lemonade. My husband loves half-tea/half-lemonade so I figured it was worth a try.
I picked up these fun flavors of Canada Dry at Walmart!
In order to keep the recipe quick and easy, I made the lemonade using a mix for a water bottle. But you can use whatever lemonade is your favorite or even make homemade lemonade.
Add the lemonade to glasses. I have these fun glasses that I believe are footed iced tea glasses. They are actually plastic so they’re perfect for outdoor entertaining. One water bottle filled each glass half-way and they are big glasses.
Fill the rest of glass up with Blackberry Canada Dry Ginger AleĀ®. I love the purple! It’s the perfect color for spring. Plus the carbonation adds fun bubbles to make this such a festive blackberry drink recipe. It’s also delicious. My kids keep asking me to make them more.
I added in some fresh blackberries for garnish (totally optional but we almost always have blackberries on hand since my kids think they are a food group) and ice cubes to keep it chilled.
