Paper Christmas Tree Craft
Paper Christmas Tree Materials:
- Green paper
- Red felt paper
- Yellow foam sheet
- Glue
- Scissor
Paper Christmas Tree Directions:
Make a cone out of the green colored paper by folding it. Seal the cone with glue. Cut the bottom of the paper if needed to flatten the bottom of the cone.
Cut as many arc shapes as possible from the green-colored paper in several sizes. You will want a mix of large and small arcs.
To give the tree branches more depth, use the side of a pair of scissors to curl the leaves outwards. Check the video above to see how to do this.
Attach these cut-out pieces to the cone with glue. Start attaching the larger pieces from the bottom. Use smaller pieces as you move to the top of the cone.
Cut out tiny circles from the red felt and yellow foam sheet.
Attach the red and yellow dots to the tree with glue.
You could also make a yellow star to attach to the top of your trees. Repeat the process to make an entire forest of paper Christmas trees.
You can make paper Christmas trees with any age of kids. For younger kids, pre-make the cones and cut out all the pieces. Give them a glue stick and let them decorate the trees.
