Make fun Sugar Cookie Spoons for dipping in your coffee or hot cocoa this winter! A pre-made sugar cookie mix is used to make these cookie spoons an easy and quick treat to make.
Aren’t these sugar cookie spoons just fun? I have a weakness for shaped baking pans and I love this Wilton Cookie Spoon pan. We drink a lot of coffee and hot cocoa during the winter and love to dip things in to our hot beverages and cookie spoons are great for that. Pair these cookie spoons with some homemade hot chocolate mix or instant coffee mix for an easy and fun gift, too.
These sugar cookie spoons are made with a pre-made mix, but you could also try your favorite sugar cookie recipe. I like to use my Wilton Chocolate Pro melting pot (again) to melt chocolate for dipping. It’s so inexpensive and it makes working with melted chocolate easy. You can use white chocolate chips but I prefer Wilton White Chocolate candy melts. They seem to stand up better to being melted and then setting again. Or you can get crazy and get some fun holiday colors to use instead. Dark chocolate would be a great addition as well.
Sugar Cookie Spoons
Ingredients
- White chocolate melts
- Wilton Spoon Cookie pan
- Christmas Sprinkles
- 1 Bag of Sugar Cookie Mix and ingredients needed to make it
Instructions
- Make sugar cookie dough according to package instructions. The dough should be pretty sturdy.
- Spray the cookie pan with cooking spray, if needed. Fill the spoon molds with about 1 Tablespoon of cookie dough.
- Bake at 350 until golden brown about 10-15 minutes. Let cool for about 10-15 minutes before removing the cookies from the pan as they tend to break when removed hot.
- Melt the white chocolate. I melt mine in a Wilton Chocolate Pro Melting Pot, but you can also melt it in a microwave and heating for 15 seconds and mixing in between until it's smooth.
- Cut a piece of wax or parchment paper and set that aside. Now your dunk your cookie in the the chocolate and as soon as place on paper, sprinkle with your desired sprinkles. Allow to harden in fridge. They are ready to be eaten or dunked in coffee.
Love these spoons! Thanks so much for sharing with Full Plate Thursday and have a very special Christmas week!

These are so fun I wish I had one for my coffee this morning!
Me, too! It’s such a cute cookie pan.
Chocolate covered cookie spoons are such a good idea. You can just melt the tops into hot chocolate and eat the handles! I really might borrow this idea for holiday gifts….
Love the way these cookie spoons turned out! All month long I am featuring different holiday cookie creations for my cookie countdown to Christmas! I would love it if you stopped by to check it out! 🙂
