Use popsicle craft sticks to make an adorable popsicle stick fox craft. Paint the popsicle sticks with craft paint and add details like eyes, nose, and tail.
This cute little popsicle stick fox is one of four winter animal popsicle stick crafts we’ve created. The fox also has an owl, polar bear, and walrus friends. You can create just one or make the entire set.
Popsicle crafts are some of our favorite crafts to make with kids. They are cheap, easy, and fun to make. Plus, they are just so darn cute.

Popsicle Stick Fox Craft Supplies
To make a popsicle stick fox, you will need the following:
- Popsicle craft sticks
- Glue or a glue gun
- Scissors or a craft knife
- Gray craft paint (or black and white to make gray)
- Paintbrush
- Black marker or paint
- Googly eyes
- Cardboard
How to Make a Popsicle Stick Fox
Use scissors to cut one craft popsicle stick in half. Lay four popsicle sticks side by side on a flat surface.
Glue one half of the cut popsicle stick to the top half of the four sticks and the other half on the bottom. This will hold the sticks together to form the body of the fox.
Paint the popsicle sticks gray. Make sure to cover the entire popsicle stick. Let it dry.
Cut out the Fox Pieces
Join our newsletter and get the template for the fox parts in your email. Download the template. Print and then cut out the template pieces for the fox’s face, chest fur, tail, and ears.
You can cut out the fox face and chest fur and use those directly on the craft. Or, you can trace them onto any other color of construction paper, like black or orange.
Trace 2 of the ears and 2 paws onto pieces of cardboard. Cut them out.
Paint the ears and paws gray.
Trim the white ears template just a little smaller than the gray one. Glue the white on top of the gray.
Make the tail by tracing the template onto a piece of cardboard.
Paint the tail gray. Paint the tip of the tail white.
Trace the nose onto a piece of colored construction paper. The nose can be made out of any color, such as pink, gray, black, or orange. Just trace it onto whichever color you choose. Cut it out.
Glue the Pieces Together
Glue the fox’s face and chest hair to the body. Then, glue the ears to the back of the body. Allow the glue to dry.
Glue on the googly eyes, paws, and nose.
Use a pen or marker to draw on the fox’s mouth and toes on his paws.
Glue the tail to the back of the fox so that the tail sticks out on one side.
Enjoy your fox!
