No-sew fabric pumpkins are a great addition to farmhouse or rustic decor. Made with a carvable foam pumpkin found easily at the local craft or dollar store. The pumpkin is covered with an old pair of blue jeans. Then glue on a wood stem, felt leaves, and twine vines. This quick and easy craft project goes together in just about 15 minutes. Change the colors of the denim to accent your fall home decor.

No Sew Fabric Pumpkin Supplies and Tools:

- Scissors
- Ruler
- Craft Knife
- Chopstick or Pencil
- Wired Twine
- Wire Cutters
- DENIM PUMPKIN LEAF PATTERN
No Sew Fabric Pumpkin Instructions:
Gather all supplies. Remove the tag and the stem from the foam pumpkin.
Using a craft knife, carefully cut out a square in the top of the foam pumpkin that is approximately 2” by 2” to create a hole. Flip the foam pumpkin over and cut out a square in the bottom, approximately 2” by 2”, to create a hole.
Measure and cut a 12” length from the leg of the denim jeans, making sure that the pumpkin will fit inside.
Place the foam pumpkin in the center of the section of the blue jean leg.
Starting at the bottom of the pumpkin, insert the denim jean leg onto the square hole.
Continue to fold the denim using the natural shape of the pumpkin as your guide and poke the fabric into the hole with your finger.
Flip the pumpkin over. Gather, fold, and insert the denim onto the hole at the top of the pumpkin. Use a chopstick or pencil once the thick fabric fills the hole. Continue to fold the denim using the natural shape of the pumpkin as your guide and poke the denim into the hole.
Insert a wooden stem into the top center of the pumpkin and secure it with a glue gun and glue sticks.
Download and print the LEAF PATTERN. Use the pattern to trace a leaf out of the olive green craft felt. Cut out with scissors. To create dimension, apply a dot of glue at the base of the leaf and fold it in half.
Measure and cut one 12” length of wired twine using wire cutters. Wrap around a pencil, and then slide off to create a vine. Stretch and bend the wire to create a pumpkin vine.
To finish the fabric pumpkin, attach the wired twine vine and the leaf to the side of the wooden stem, securing with a glue gun and glue sticks.
