Skip the cans this year and make homemade cranberry sauce! Ready in just 15 minutes with only 3 ingredients, you’ll wonder why you never made it before.
I’ve never really paid much attention to the cranberries on the Thanksgiving table. My dad likes the jelly cranberries and it just didn’t look appetizing. But the bags of fresh cranberries were calling to me in the grocery store and I caved.
Making homemade cranberry sauce is super easy. All you need are water, sugar, and berries. From there you can doctor up the sauce to make it your own with orange juice, blueberries, dried fruit, and even spices.
The sauce thickens as it cools and it can be made days ahead of time. You could even freeze for later use.
