Do you ever feel the pressure to find your kid’s passion by age 5? Just ignore it. This girl started dancing last year at the age of 11. It’s her passion and she’s pretty good at it. Her dance team competed this weekend in their first competition and took 2nd. I barely recognize her when she’s on stage dancing. So relax, Mom. They will find their passion but there’s no rush!

We had a big moment last week. This girl went to her first dance. 😳 In a limo! The homeschool community in Vegas is strong and 140 teens hit the dance floor for a fun night. It’s so fun to watch her grow up!

#ad Alright moms, let’s talk about our favorite time of the day: after school. Oh the chaos and craziness! We all need a little fortifying before the kids come crashing through the door. An hour or so before the kids come home, brew up a cup of your favorite @folgers coffee. My favorite blend is Columbian. Make yourself a little treat like our scotcheroo bars (recipe on the blog). They are no bake and super easy to make. Then enjoy a few minutes of peace and quiet before the afternoon begins. What’s your favorite complement to your afternoon cup of Folgers coffee?

#ad How's the start of 2019 been for you? January is always a great month to hit the "reset" button on life. Look at your kids' schedules - is it time to cut back or add on? How about teaching them a new skill like making their own breakfast? General Mills new cereal, Chocolate Toast Crunch, is one of our family's new favorites for breakfast. The kids are happy to pour their own bowl and even clean up their dishes when they're finished eating. #NewYearNewFlavors
