Current state of affairs! We’re mid kitchen remodel using @ikeausa kitchen services. So far it’s been a great experience! The new cabinets go in starting this Thursday. I miss having a sink! 😂

We have this crazy tendency to just go... while camping last week in Utah we realized we were only a few hours from Jackson Hole ... so we went! It was such a cute little area. One summer we spent 24 hours in San Francisco because it was “only” 4 hours from our campground. 😂🤣🤦🏻‍♀️ Do you ever take crazy side adventures on vacation?? 🚘✈️⛺️

Enjoying a summer day at @wetnwildvegas! This summer so far has been gorgeous! We’ve stayed below 105 most days. It’s been perfect weather. In other news, this girl turns 13 in a few weeks. 😳 She looks so grown up - I can’t stand it! How’s your summer going?

This is my teen daughter’s bedroom just after the cleaning lady picked it up 2.5 weeks ago. Side note: a monthly cleaning lady has been THE BEST self-care I’ve invested in! Back to post: Said daughter has also been gone for 2.5 weeks. I’ve enjoyed the clean but tonight it ends. The kids are back and so is the mess. It was awesome while it lasted! Glad to have the kids back. The mess not so much. 🤷‍♀️

The mama bird (outside on the AC unit) has babies in a nest in our front yard. A few days ago she started holding court in the backyard. She must’ve noticed the cats who love to sit at the door and look outside. This conversation has been going on for days! 😂
