Make meatless meals fun and kid friendly with these great ideas ranging from meatless corn dogs to yummy baked mac and cheese!
When planning my menu each week I try to make sure we have a variety of different dishes for dinner. I try to make sure we eat only one type of meal each week so my kids aren’t sick of chicken by the end of the week.
At least one night each week I try to plan a meatless meal. I like to take a break from meat and teach my kids to enjoy a variety of foods. It can be hard, though, to find kid friendly meatless meals.
You can make pasta, of course, but that can get old fast. Thanks to Morning Star Farms for encouraging me to find a Fresh Take on Meals and sponsoring this post.
This kid friendly Meatless Sloppy Joes recipe from Homecooking Memories is made with beans as the base instead of meat.

Add some veggies to pasta with this fun Zucchini Spaghetti from Maybe I Will.
Kids will love to build these Black Bean Stacked Tortillas from Morning Star Farms! Set them up with all the ingredients and them build dinner.
Rosie’s Mac and Cheese is comfort food at it’s best! Noodles, tomato soup, cheese and bread crumbs are all you need to make this tasty meatless meal.
Meatless Lasagna from Nutrition Twins is made with whole wheat pasta and is loaded with veggies that the kids will never notice.

It’s AMAZING! One of my favorite ways to get in more veggies.
Thanks for all of these- we always have Meatless Monday at our house so it is great to get some new inspiration.
Thanks so much for this! I have one nearly vegetarian kid and one meat eating, veggie hating, picky eater kid. I think most of these recipes will be totally accepted by both of them.
