Next week is Thanksgiving which means that advent is almost upon us. I love when Thanksgiving is early because it gives me time to get organized before advent begins. My DIY advent wreath is ready to with new candles, but I’d really like to create more holiday traditions with my kids this year. Last year, about half-way through advent, I discovered the cutest little advent e-book, Truth in the Tinsel, written by Amanda White of the blog Oh Amanda. It was so cute and I was so sad I had missed out on it!
But not this year! I’ve already got my copy, downloaded the supply list and I’m ready to go. Truth in the Tinsel takes you through each day of advent with a little devotional and an ornament to make with your kids. My kids are major craft junkies and they are going to be thrilled that we’ll be doing a craft every single day. The book includes all the printables and templates you need to create your ornaments.
Amanda has also created a Truth in the Tinsel Pinterest board and a Truth in the Tinsel Facebook page so we can all share how we’re using Truth in the Tinsel this advent season. I’ll be trying to share our ornaments on Facebook or Instagram!
Truth in the Tinsel can be downloaded straight to your computer and is $7.99. But Amanda has provided me with a 20% off discount just for my readers! Just use the code “GROWINGUP” when checking out to get your discount.
