This is one of my favorite “Fall is Here!” foods. The kitchen smells so good while these are cooking. It helps me pretend it’s a cool Fall day outside when it’s really in the mid-90s!
Whenever I cook these, they burn very quickly probably because of the molasses so watch them closely. I’d also suggest cooking them on a slightly lower heat than normal as they need a bit more time to cook and rise.
