Equipment

  • Cricut cutting machine (such as a Cricut Joy or Cricut Explore Air)
  • Cricut StandardGrip Mat
  • Weeding tools
  • Cricut Hat Press (or other heat press)

Materials

  • Cricut Iron-On HTV – we used UV Activated Color Changing Iron On
  • Hat of your choice or anything else you want to make like a bag, an apron, or tee shirt
  • Free Choose Kindness SVG

Instructions

  • Upload SVG to Design Space. Resize to fit the hat.
  • Follow the prompts in Desing Space to cut the design.
  • Make sure to mirror the design.
  • Cut design on Cricut machine.
  • Unload the design when finished cutting.
  • Weed excess HTV.
  • Use the Cricut Heat App to pre-heat Cricut Hat Press.
  • Place hat on hat mold.
  • Pre-heat the hat according to the app.
  • Use heat resistant tape to adhere the design to the hat.
  • Follow the instructions in the heat app for time and temperature settings.
  • Press the design to the hat. Peel as directed.
