Instructions
Download, print, and cut out the ROPE GHOST BASE PATTERN.
Trace the semi-circle pattern onto cardboard with a pencil. Cut out the semi-circle Rope Ghost base pattern with scissors.
Measure the rope around the base, and using a ruler, measure 12” from the top of the ghost to the bottom.
Trim the first section of rope with scissors.
Glue the rope to the cardboard base using a glue gun and glue sticks.
Measure and then cut additional sections of rope working inward. Attach with a glue gun and glue sticks. Trim the cotton rope with scissors.
Once the cardboard is full, and the glue is dry, lay the ghost flat on your work surface. Use scissors to trim the ends as even as possible.
Carefully unravel each rope section by hand, leaving the lengths curly.
Work your way across, unraveling each piece of rope as far up as the cardboard.
Once all the rope is unraveled, give the ends of the cotton rope a final trim with scissors.
Download, print, and cut out the ROPE GHOST FACE PATTERNS with scissors. Trace or pin the patterns onto black craft felt. Cut out all patterns with scissors.
Measure a 12” length of jute twine and cut with scissors. Flip the ghost over and attach the jute twine hanger to the cardboard with a glue gun and glue sticks.
