This post brought to you by Murphy-Goode Winery. All opinions are 100% mine.
If you remember last month I wrote about nominating my amazing sister, Michelle, for Murphy-Goode’s A Few Goode Heroes Contest. Just to recap, Murphy-Goode is sponsoring the “A Few Goode Heroes” Contest via their Facebook page. Murphy-Goode fans will vote and choose 5 winners. Four Hero Prize Winners will win a $500, made in the Selected Contestant’s name, donated to his or her nonprofit organization of choice. A matching donation of $500 will also be donated to Operation Homefront. One Super Hero Prize Winner will one a prize of $1,000 donation made in the Super Hero Prize Selected Contestant’s name to a nonprofit organization of his or her choice. A matching donation of $1,000 will also be donated to Operation Homefront.
I nominated my sister, Michelle. Michelle is a high school PE teacher in one of the roughest areas in Las Vegas. A few years ago Michelle started a Cross FIT program right in her high school. I could tell you all about her, but this video from Cross FIT says it all. I’ll wait here while you go watch.
As it turns out, Michelle is one of the TOP 5 FINALISTS! And we need your help! So – will you please go vote for Michelle? Her Ranch Cross FIT program is a non-profit and they could use the money. Or really, pick any hero that you see on the Murphy-Goode on Facebook page and vote! You can vote for your favorite Everyday Hero from May 12-19, 2014!
