We live on the other side of the country from a lot of our family. That means that we use technology and the internet to stay in touch. Like many people, on Christmas morning we’ll be on our laptops and tablets video chatting with family far away.
We also use technology to stay close to our family nearby. Last night we couldn’t find our checkerboard so my husband downloaded a checker game app and taught our daughter how to play on his tablet. The kids are pros at making funny family videos on our cell phones and then emailing to us. We embrace technology and use it to stay close as a family.
Tech gifts are fun and popular Christmas gifts for all ages. They also help us spend time and create memories with our families. But can you imagine come Christmas morning everyone opening their new gadgets, but not being able to connect to the internet?! That’s what happened to Stanley in this cute take on a famous Christmas story. Santa saves the day by bringing Verizon FiOS to Stanley’s home, which makes all of his gadget gifts work. Check it out:
Here’s hoping Santa brings you and yours a black and red box so you can connect with family this holiday season!
