The holiday season is one of my favorite times of the year. I love the decorations, the food, the parties, and ultimately our time together as a family celebrating. I also love granting the wishes my family makes for holiday gifts and events. But I also know that for many families, the holidays can be full of stress and sadness at not being able to celebrate the way they want to. I am always looking for ways to help out in any way I can and this year, UPS has a magical program where you can make a wish and help out someone in need.
This holiday season, UPS is encouraging people to create holiday cheer by sharing your holiday wishes and stories on Twitter and Instagram. For every wish and story submitted, UPS will donate $1 to one of their charity partners (Salvation Army, Boys & Girls Club or Toys for Tots) up to a total donation of $100,000! This is such a fun and easy way to help a family in need have a magical holiday season. Check out the video below:
So how do you help? Post your wish to Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #WishesDelivered and it will automatically be submitted to the program. If you aren’t on those social media channels, you can also go directly to UPS.com/wishes and submit your wish there. The more wishes that are submitted, the more money UPS will donate so encourage everyone you know to submit their wish! You can also share your wish on other social media to help spread the word about this fun program.
What’s your wish? To help feed a family in need? Donate books to a school library? Tell us what you want for someone else this holiday season! Don’t forget to use the hashtag #WishesDelivered and you can tag me (@TheGabels on Twitter and @GrowingUpGabel on Instagram) so I can help spread your wish, too!
