I mentioned earlier this month that I’m spending a lot of time on the road in July. In fact, this month alone I’ll be visiting, driving or flying through 7 different states! I love to travel and actually worked in the travel industry for a few years after college. But that was before the days of technology. Now I need a computer to work, and a way to connect to the internet and something to keep it all charged.
My first trip this summer was to northern Utah. My husband and kids had never been so we all drove up and had a few days to explore the area. One morning we took advantage of the gorgeous weather and spent the morning at a park. While the kids played, I set up on a picnic table nearby to get a bit of work done. I brought a long my Lenovo Yoga 3, a portable charger (just in case) and a little Wifi hotspot.
The Lenovo Yoga 3 is an Intel 2 in 1 device. I’m used to working on a 17″ laptop, which is great for day to day working, but it’s a beast to lug around. The Lenovo Yoga 3 is an ultraportable, multimode laptop. It literally folds in half to be used as a tablet. Or it cans set up on a table like normal laptop. The Yoga 3 weighs a mere 2.6 pounds and it folds down to just over 1/2 an inch thick making it very easy for travel. It literally fits right in my purse. While I did bring along a portable charger, I’m more likely to need it for my phone because the Yoga has epic battery life.
So far this summer, the Lenovo Yoga 3 has been an amazing travel companion and is a great laptop option for busy moms who are on the go!
