Having a stash of summer recipes in my back pocket is essential to surviving our hot summers. When it gets really, really hot I prefer summer recipes that require no cooking so both the house and my family can say cool!
The day my husband and I drove our moving truck in to Las Vegas the temperature on the dashboard read 118 degrees. We decide to wait until it cooled down after the sun set to move our stuff in. Ha ha! I think the low that night was 100 degrees. When the weather gets hot, I don’t want to turn on any kind of heat to cook at all – not even the slow cooker!
So I looked around the internet to see if I could find some meals that require no heat, or no cooking, at all to make. A few require cooked items like beans or rice that you could buy and use. But in general, here are a 50 no cook recipes for scorching hot summer days!
