Make clean up after your summer party easy with Glad black bags! Check out the Glad Black Bags Trash Crashers to make summer party clean up fun and easy.
Everyone loves a good party – from young to old! But really, no one loves the clean up. I spend all day cleaning and cooking to get ready, enjoy the party, and then I have to clean up, too? UGH! No worries – the Gland Black Bag TrashCrashers make clean up fun! Check them out here:
I’m really hoping the Glad TrashCrashers make an appearance at our house this summer because summer is party time at our home. With the kids and my husband home for the summer, we all really look forward to spending the summer together as a family. We also have several celebrations during the summer including the 4th of July, my daughter’s birthday, and, as the summer winds down, back to school events. I definitely get in a lot of entertaining during the summer months.
One of our favorite summer traditions is our 4th of July shrimp boil. It’s delicious – and messy! We serve the shrimp boil on top of plastic table cloths spread out on a table – no plates or utensils provided. Clean up is pretty easy, though. We just scoop up the table cloths and throw them in the trash. Dishes are done!
I also throw a birthday party every July for our daughter, Ella. I have learned that the best way to make clean up easy for a kids birthday party – is to not have one at home! But sometimes the budget or child’s request means I’m making a doll dress cake and we’re having a party at home. The best way to make clean up easy is to use disposable everything – plates, napkins, utensils, cups and even serving trays. This way the guests do half the work for you when they throw away what they used.
We always end the summer with a welcome back dinner for my husband’s marching band staff. They start rehearsing long before school starts so it’s a fun way to help everyone get back into the groove of school. For this barbecue I usually pick a fun theme and stick with food we cook on the grill or cook in the slow cooker. I make baked beans once a year – for this party! The beans cook all day in the slow cooker so I don’t have to worry about them and I only have one dish to clean up at the end of the night.
What summer parties are you throwing this summer?
