Put together these easy sports team gifts for your little slugger’s baseball team for the end-of-the-season party.
For the first time ever, I am a baseball mom. Back in January my 6-year-old son decided he wanted to play baseball. Of course, it was the day after official registration had ended for our little league. I told him we’d have to wait another year, but he was insistent. Our league was able to find a spot for him on a team, thankfully. I wasn’t really sure what to expect but not only is my son now in love with baseball, but my husband and I are enjoying watching him develop as a baseball player.
Despite not knowing anyone in the league, we are so fortunate that our son found a great coach and team. There are about 5 parents that volunteer their time to help these little guys and gals learn the game of baseball. And their kids are just as awesome, being great sports and players. The end of our season is only a few weeks away and I wanted to put together a little end-of-the-season sports team gift for each player. I found these adorable baseball buckets at the party store and I knew they’d be perfect for filling up with treats.
I filled the buckets with cute little baseball-themed items. I put in pencils, a bouncy baseball ball, and baseball tattoos, and each bucket has three baseball trading cards. I also included Kellogg’s® Rice Krispies Treats® in each gift.
I also made this baseball printable that says “I had a ball being on your team!” to attach to each bucket. There are 4 to a sheet and I just cut them out, hole punched each one and used some ribbon to tie them on.
Too cute! We packaged everything up and they are ready to go for our end of the season picnic in a few weeks.
