This sesame noodle recipe is the perfect side dish for stir fry, kebabs, or as a meal itself and itās ready in just 10 minutes.
Spaghetti with marinara sauce is one of my go to quick and easy dinners as is stir fry. Ā And if I can make the entire meal in one pot, well, just sign me up! This quick and easy dish puts the two together in a super delicious and easy one pot meal.Ā
Pasta is pretty easy to make to begin with but not having to boil water first, especially in the summer, is definitely worth checking out.   The new Barilla® Pronto⢠Pasta from promised to cook in just 10 minutes so I had to try it.
I wasnāt in the mood to go Italian so instead I found Soy Vay Sesame Dressing and Marinade. Ā I thought a one pot sesame noodle dish would be a nice change of pace and way to combine easy stir fry with an easy pasta.Ā
I did not expect this to work. I checked out the ingredient list on the pasta and there was nothing odd about it so Iām not sure how they get it to cook so quickly.
The spaghetti is smaller in length than normal so maybe that helps.
I wanted this to be a one pot meal so I needed some kind of protein and/or veggies. I wasnāt sure how fresh or frozen veggies would do boiling away in a pot. I decided to use jarred roasted bell peppers instead. Black olives or capers would also be fabulous in this dish.
I did not add a protein, but cooked diced chicken could easily be stirred in at the end.
This workedĀ wonderfully! I had a tasty side dish ready in 10 minutes and made in only one pan.
The beauty is that you can really add anything to this dish you want. I think green onions would add some nice color and flavor. Make the sesame noodles into a main dish by adding grilled chicken. The recipe is very flexible.
