can you tell me where you find the organic KOYO ramen noodles I would love to buy some.. thanks Joy
Hi Joy! My sister found them in a mercantile store run by a Mennonite family in a small town in Michigan. I’ve checked Amazon.com, but they are kind of expensive.
They are sold at East End Food Co-op in Pittsburgh. If you’re in a different part of the country, I bet other health food co-op stores carry them, too. They cost more than supermarket ramen but are still affordable, and healthier. Most co-ops let you shop there without becoming a member, but you’ll pay a little more (2% at East End) so if you find other things you want to buy there, it’s probably worth joining. I love the bulk food department, where you can buy the exact quantity you want and the prices (on most items) are great because you’re not buying packaging.
Camille, thanks for all these recipes! I love ramen. Here is my trusty recipe for using tofu that’s past its prime, with ramen!
Thanks, Becca! Great info and tips. The recipe looks fantastic!
