Looking for unique pool party accessories? Check out these napkin rings made from pool noodles! A quick and easy pool party decoration that will look great!

This summer I’ve been sharing fun pool noodle crafts. First we made this awesome pool noodle garland, which would go great with these napkin rings for a pool party.   Then we made pool noodle boats, which would be fun bobbing in smaller pools or in the big pool during a party.   Finally we made a pool noodle caterpillar for a garden or planter decoration.  And of course, my favorite – the pool noodle wreath – is great for any occasion.   This is the final week of pool noodle crafts as we are sadly heading out of summer way too quickly.

This week I’m sharing a super quick and easy craft that’s the perfect pool party decoration – pool noodle napkin rings. These are super colorful and fun and are literally ready in just a few minutes.

Pool Party Accessory

Supplies needed:

Pool noodles in all shapes and colors (check the dollar store)

Serrated knife

Pool Party Pool Noodle Napkin Holder

1. Begin by cutting your pool noodles into 1 inch thick segments. Use a serrated knife for this as it makes nice and clean cuts, and your segments will also look nice and even.

2. Once your segments are cut, use the knife to cut a slit into each. You don’t want to go all of the way through, just through one half of the segment.

3. Roll up your napkins into a tub shape and then place the pool noodle segment around them. The slit in the segment makes it easy to open up the napkin ring, and allows it to fit napkins of all thicknesses.  I used a plain white napkin but mixing and matching colors would make a great display.

4. Display your napkins on a tray so you can see the colorful napkin rings. When done, you can take

these and store them in a plastic bag until you need them again. No need to toss them, they are perfectly fine to reuse!

How simple are these pool noodle napkin rings? Although simple, they will sure add some fun detail to your next pool party. So gather your supplies and give them a try for yourself.
