Carrot Garland Instructions
Cut the orange construction paper into rectangles. The size of the rectangles will determine the size of the carrots. You can make them any size you like.
Fold the orange rectangles accordion style on the long side of the rectangle.
Fold the accordion in half.
Use clear tape to attach the ends of the paper accordion.
Cut or gently tear the green tissue paper into rectangles to make the carrot’s leaves.
Fold the rectangle and bunch it together. Tape it to the back of the carrot. You could also make the leaf and attach it to the accordion before folding it. Put the tissue paper between the orange accordion’s two ends and tape it inside.
Cut short pieces of yarn. You will need 1 piece for every carrot. Tape the short pieces of yarn to the back of the carrots. You can vary the length of the yarn or make them the same.
Cut a piece of yarn the length you want your garland to be. Tie or tape the carrots to the yarn to complete the carrot garland.
