When coating chicken breasts for baking, it makes things easier if you set up all your stations first. It just makes things so much easier to prep. For this recipe you’ll need a plate with your chicken, two bowls, and then your prepared baking sheets. Start with putting an egg in a bowl.
Next, in a separate bowl, add bread crumbs, parsley, seasoning, garlic powder, salt and pepper and mix well. Set this bowl next to, or after, the egg.
Remove the chicken from the package. Trim if needed and set that on a plate in front of the egg bowl.
Next, you will coat the chicken with bread crumbs for baking. Set out the plate of chicken, then the egg, then the bread crumb mixture, and finally the prepared baking pan. Begin by dredging the chicken breast into eggs and coat on both sides.
Next, dip the chicken breast into the bread crumb mixture and coat evenly on both sides.
Finally, place on prepared baking sheet. You can use your fingers, a fork or tongs to move the chicken between stations. Repeat the same process for each chicken breast.
Once all the chicken breasts are coated and on the baking sheet, bake for 30-35 minutes or until center is no longer pink.
While the chicken bakes, mix butter and honey together in a small bowl.
When the chicken is cooked through, remove from oven and allow to cool before serving.
Serve each piece of chicken topped with a dollop of the honey butter.
