Monthly Menu Plan – April 2012

Hooray for a finished menu for the MONTH!  It went together fairly quickly and with out anyone getting hurt.  I really liked having a monthly plan for March.  We didn’t stick to it exactly, but it was such a relief to know that I had a plan in place when and if I needed one.   Plus, I didn’t dread making the menu every week. It was all done and ready to go. I just had to make sure I had all the ingredients I needed.

April 2012 Menu

Week 1

  • Monday: Lentil Soup, bread, spinach salad
  • Tuesday: Pasta Carbonara, green beans
  • Wednesday: Beef Short Ribs, rice, salad
  • Thursday: Seder meal of chicken, matza ball soup, asparagus, noodle kugel
  • Friday: Chicken enchiladas (using leftover chicken)

Week 2

  • Monday: Shrimp etouffe, rice, veggie
  • Tuesday: Taco bar
  • Wednesday: Amish chicken
  • Thursday: Steak tips with egg noodles
  • Friday: Homemade pizza

Week 3

  • Monday: Brats on the grill, potatoes
  • Tuesday: Sashimi salmon, coleslaw, rice
  • Wednesday: Chicken curry
  • Thursday: Pizza
  • Friday: Hamburgers

Week 4

  • Monday: Turkey Lettuce Wraps
  • Tuesday: Pasta with bolognese sauce
  • Wednesday: Egg Foo Young, rice
  • Thursday: Whiskey and Beer chicken sliders
  • Friday: Greek Chicken
