Mermaid Birthday Party Printables

Are you ready to throw the most amazing mermaid birthday party ever? This mermaid birthday party printable kit will make party planning easy and fun. Plus, you can use your Cricut cutting machine to make cutting out all the pieces super quick and easy.

Mermaid Birthday Party Printables

The mermaid birthday party kit comes with PDFs and links to access the files in Circut Design Space. The printables can be cut using scissors or a Cricut Cutting machine using “Print then Cut” on a Maker or Explore. The Cricut Print then Cut option makes cutting out the party super quick and easy. We used it to cut out all different parts except the invitations.

Mermaid Invitations

The first thing you will need for a party is guests. The mermaid party kit includes 4 different options for invitations:

• Mermaids with a white background
• Mermaids with a pattern background
• Shells and tails with a white background
• Shells and tails with a pattern background

You can print the invitations on a regular household printer. We used white cardstock. You can use a Cricut with the Print then Cut function, making the invitations smaller. The larger invitations were printed straight from the PDF files and then printed on “fit to paper.” Either way, you will need to cut them apart using scissors.

Mermaid Happy Birthday Bunting

The bunting or sign spells out “Happy Birthday.” It also includes shells and 4 different mermaids you can use to make the sign your own. The bunting is printed and then cut out. You can use scissors, a large round paper punch, or your Cricut to cut out the circles.

To cut on a Cricut cutting machine, you will want to click the Design Space links. You will upload those into Design Space and use the “Print then Cut” option on a Cricut Explore or Maker. The photo shows a standard grip mat, but a light grip mat works better for Print then Cut.

Print on any type of paper you like. We used a package of normal white card stock.

Once all the pieces are cut out, you have a few options to hang the bunting. You can punch holes in either side as we did and string them on a piece of ribbon, twine, etc. Or you could use mini clothespins to hang them as well.

We made 2 buntings and hung them one above the other. You can also make one long sign if you have a larger space.

Mermaid Cupcake Toppers

The party printable set includes 12 different cupcake toppers: 4 shells, 4 mermaids, and 4 scalloped sayings. Cutting out the toppers is a breeze with a Cricut machine. You just print out the toppers on cardstock through Design Space. Then you use a Light Grip mat, and your Cricut machine does all the work in just a few minutes.

Tape the cupcake toppers onto white lollipop sticks. We used a combination of 4″ sticks in front and 6″ sticks in back. Plain store-bought cupcakes are transformed into adorable mermaid-themed cupcakes.

Mermaid Treat Bag Tags

Send guests home with a little mermaid magic. You can give bubbles or sand toy kits for mermaid parties like the ones pictured. Make your own Mermaid Bath Bombs, place them in a clear bag and add a tag. You could even give out mermaid books. Just add one of the 12 different designs to the bag.

These are also cuttable with a Cricut, and it will even cut out the hole for the ribbon. Super easy and done in minutes.
