Get Dirty – and Clean – with Maytag

I once saw a saying that defined boys as noise with dirt on it. That pretty much sums up my son.  When we go on vacation, I pack twice the amount of clothing for him than I do for the rest of the family.  The kid is a dirt magnet.  It’s not really surprising that he loves to play baseball. In particular he loves to slide in to base, whether he needs to or not. Apparently the dirtier your pants are, the better you’ve played.

After School Sports

We are just starting our second season of baseball.  Of course, his uniform pants are white.  In Vegas our baseball diamonds are made up of a red dirt.  The red is from extra iron that is found in our ground and while it’s very pretty to look at, it makes laundering white baseball pants a nightmare. I have been dreaming about a new, updated washer and dryer set to help keep the filthy laundry under control.

Maytag’s newest Top Load Washer & Dryer pair is better built because they are designed, engineered and assembled in America and have the power to clean big league stains. Now, Maytag and MLB are continuing to bring fans new programs that enhance their connection to America’s national pastime by asking the fans to submit their own “Filthy Plays”.

To enter Maytag’s Filthiest Plays of the Week contest simply upload a picture or video of your child’s “filthy play.” The content can be of any ball players at any level. Use the “#MyFilthiestPlay” hashtag on Twitter or Instagram, for a chance to win weekly prizes, and the opportunity of a lifetime for moms dealing with dirt – a grand prize trip to the World Series, plus a Maytag Top Load Washer and Dryer pair!  Let Maytag laundry help you create memories and keep your kids clothes clean.
