As we start heading in to Spring and Summer, I start thinking of salads for my menu and with salads come salad dressings. I love homemade dressings. They are healthier, cheaper and tastier than the store bought kind.
- 3/4 cup ketchup
- 2 Tablespoons sucanat or brown sugar
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon liquid smoke
- 1 Tablespoon celery seed
- Combine all ingredients in a jar and shake.
