Holiday Crafting with Duck Tape®

Tape of all kinds is one of the hottest crafting mediums right now. A month or so ago I even ran across glitter tape!  Most of the new crafty tapes have fancy names, but even the good old fashioned  household favorite Duck® Brand has gotten in to the crafting spirit this year.  Duck Tape® has a fun new holiday themed of tape perfect for holiday crafting.

I'd really love to take any of the holiday prints to a styrofoam wreath to make an easy holiday wreath for our front door!  I think it'd be easy to just wrap the tape around the wreath form and maybe add a bow made out of a coordinating tape for a truly unique holiday wreath.  The candy cane stripe above would be super cute with real candy canes attched to the wreath for the taking as guests leave the house.

Another fun idea for this holiday themed Duck Tape® is to assign each person or child one of the holiday print tapes.  Then use plain brown packaging paper and the assigned holiday tape to wrap thepresents.  No special tags needed – everyone knows their packages by their tape!  This would be really fun with boys!  In fact, I'm guessing if I gave my husband a few rolls of Duck Tape® for wrapping presents, I'd get a lot more help in that area.

I'd also love to use the gingerbread man print for packaging treats for a cookie exchange I have coming up. I love that these holiday prints can help you take a simple thing like a plastic bag and give it a little holiday flare.
