Hello Kitty goes a little KuKee with a fun new line of clothes that goes digital with a kids app!
There is nothing my daughter likes more than clothes… and she’s only 7! Add in Hello Kitty, finger puppets and a fun kids photo app and my girl is a major fan!
So what is KuKee? KuKee is an augmented virtual reality app that is being shared and distributed via Evy of CA’s new Hello Kitty Clothing Line at Macy’s (in stores now, and ready for you to shop). Each Hello Kitty piece will come with Hello Kitty Finger puppets or finger tattoos. Once the KuKee app is opened and used to scan the tag on the garment, a puppet show will pop up. The user can then create a show with the finger puppets and the app, take pictures and share their experience with friends.
We headed to Macy’s to pick up a Hello Kitty outfit so we could try the KuKee app. Make sure to find the Hello Kitty lien with the KuKee stickers on them. There were a lot of adorable options – everything from skirts, shirts, pants and even jackets.
The fun begins when you scan the tag sewn right on to the clothing. It’s great because whenever your daughter wears the clothing, she can play with the app.
Then you use the finger puppets and have a little fashion show while the app takes photos. My daughter loved the finger puppet!
The app is somewhat like a photo booth and keeps clicking as they pose and play along.
My daughter loved the clothes. They were super comfy. She normally won’t wear anything with an applique, but she had no issue with the Hello Kitty ones at all!
It was well over 100 degrees the day we took photos and she refused to take them off. That’s always a good sign.
The Hello Kitty KuKee line is available exclusively at Macy’s!
