Looking for a keep calm Halloween poster? Use this free keep calm sign printable to create a spooky and fun Halloween decoration for just a few dollars.
One of my favorite decorating trends is the “Keep Calm” posters. They are so fun to create for different holidays. You can make this keep calm sign craft for under 10 bucks! Maybe even $5 if you have some of the supplies on hand. Replace a favorite wall hanging in October for a cute way to add a little Halloween spirit to your home – or even your office.
Keep Calm Halloween Poster Craft
Keep Calm Poster Materials:
- Printable poster – printed on card stock and cut to 8 x 10
- Foam Mask
- 8 x 10 picture frame
- Hot Glue (or regular Elmer’s Glue)
- Miscellaneous foam pieces – anything will work (optional)
Keep Calm Poster Directions:
Place your mask on the printable and figure out how you want it to lay. Straight? Angled? Keep the mask string on? Cut if off? I left mine on, it actually is positioned exactly as it came out of the package, string and all. I didn’t do anything to it but decide if I wanted it straight or angled (I went with angled).
Place your foam mask right side down onto a flat surface.
Using your foam pieces (mine were circles) cut to fit onto the mask as shown. This step is optional – I put foam pieces behind the mask to create a little depth and dimension.
Glue the foam pieces onto the mask so the sticky side is up. If you use Elmer’s glue (vs hot glue) you may have to wait for it to dry before attaching the mask. I have no patience so I go with hot glue. You could also use glue dots to place the mask. These are great for kids!
When ready to affix your mask to the printable, peel off the adhesive side of the foam pieces and press firmly onto your paper.
To Display the Keep Calm Poster:
Open your frame and place the item in front of the glass. Close up the frame and display it for Halloween!
With just a few simple supplies, this Keep Calm poster will keep your home festive for the holiday.

Great craft, Camille! I love the Keep Calm trend as well, and the mask just adds a bit more whimsy to the Halloween motif! Thanks so much for sharing this with us on #shinebloghop!
