Boo! Get your ghostly gears in motion and prepare to create a spooktacular Keep Calm Halloween poster with this “Keep Calm and Scare On” Halloween craft that will send shivers down your spine! You will need the free “Keep Calm and Scare On” printable poster, an inexpensive frame, a dollar store mask, and glue.
It’s that time of the year when things go bump in the night, and the air is filled with a pinch of magic and a dash of fright. Halloween is just around the corner, and what better way to celebrate than with a frightfully fun craft project?
Keep Calm Halloween Poster Craft
Keep Calm Poster Materials:
- Printable poster – printed on card stock and cut to 8 x 10
- Foam Mask
- 8×10 picture frame
- Hot Glue (or regular Elmer’s Glue)
- Double-sided foam tape
Keep Calm Poster Directions:
Download and print out the Keep Calm Halloween poster. Cut the poster down to 8″ x 10″ to fit in the frame.
Place your mask on the printable and figure out how you want it to lay. You can place it on straight or angled. We left the mask string on but you can also cut it off.
Place your foam mask right side down onto a flat surface. Put double sided foam tape on the back side of the mask. This step is optional. The foam pieces create a little depth and dimension on the final project but you can also just glue the mask to the poster.
When ready to affix your mask to the printable, peel off the adhesive side of the foam pieces and press firmly onto your paper.
To Display the Keep Calm Poster:
Open your frame and place the item in front of the glass. Close up the frame and display it for Halloween!
With just a few simple supplies, this Keep Calm poster will keep your home frightfully festive for the holiday.

Great craft, Camille! I love the Keep Calm trend as well, and the mask just adds a bit more whimsy to the Halloween motif! Thanks so much for sharing this with us on #shinebloghop!

Very cute idea- I love simple DIY ideas because I am just as craft as I try to pretend to be!
I stopped by from Showcase Your Talent Thursday.
Right! I still can’t quite figure out my Silhouette Cameo. It hurts my brain!
This is so cute and I love how easy it is to make! I may have to make this a part of my Halloween décor! Thanks so much for sharing at Share The Wealth Sunday!
