Want to decorate your house for Halloween? For the first time ever, we are decking out our home in Halloween decorations! Check out our plan and then come back to see how it all turns out. This post has been sponsored by Kmart who provided all our fun Halloween decorations.
My husband has been bugging me for years to let him decorate the outside of our house for Halloween. I’ve never really been big in to Halloween so we don’t really have many Halloween decorations much less ones for outdoors. Now that the kids are getting older, they, too want to decorate and so finally this year, I gave in and said yes! I had only one stipulation – nothing spooky or gross. I wanted cute and fun and festive.
One evening while the kids were at their activities, my husband and I headed to Kmart to shop for our Halloween decorations. It was like taking a kid in to a candy store. Once I got him past the candy aisle, and then the costume aisle, we finally found some fun non-spooky decorations. I immediately saw this above guy – a cute little ghost and thought he’d be the perfect Halloween decoration to work our theme around. I was picturing cute jack o’ lanterns and purple accents when we ran in to this:
And that my friends was the end of that. Our cart was piled high with none other than Star Wars Halloween decorations. I fussed. I argued. I told him that I wasn’t sure I wanted Star Wars Halloween for the rest of forever but it was to no avail. I mean, honestly, how do you walk past this and not buy it?
Seriously? A Halloween Yoda! If you’ve ever wanted a Star Wars Halloween then you need to run to Kmart right now. And if you instead wanted a super cute ghost and jack o’ lantern Halloween, they’ve got you covered there, too.
Here’s part of our haul. He thinks we still need more lights. Come back next week and I’ll show you how we decorated the outside of house Star Wars style for Halloween.
