Think a Chuck E. Cheese’s birthday party is out of the budget? It’s not! Check out our tips for hosting a Chuck E. Cheese’s birthday party rocks!
I am one of those parents who absolutely loves Chuck E, Cheese’s. Growing up, the nearest Chuck E. Cheese’s was two hours away so we only went a few times my entire childhood. But it was so much fun that it left a huge impression on me. Now, we live within an easy driving distance to several Chuck E. Cheese’s restaurants and I love taking my family there. Last fall my son decided he wanted to have a Chuck E. Cheese’s Birthday Party. I thought it would be way out of our budget, but I was wrong. Not only was I under budget, but I also brought leftovers home.
How to Rock a Chuck E. Cheese’s Birthday Party
Book Online – When booking a Chuck E. Cheese’s birthday party, always use their online party booking system. They will provide bonus coins for booking online so this is a great way to get extra coins for the party goers. Chuck E. Cheese’s does require a small deposit to book a party online.
Book During An Off Time – Usually, if you book a party online for a Friday or Sunday or early on a Saturday morning, you will receive 100 bonus tokens. That’s not always the case, but usually is. We booked my son’s birthday party for a Friday evening at 5 PM. We were the only party so he had Chuck E. Cheese all to himself during the special birthday child time of the party. It was amazing and he loved the attention!
Keep the Party Small – The absolute best part of a Chuck E. Cheese’s birthday party is you only need 5 guests, including the birthday child, to make it a party! Plus you can additional guests, like parents or babies, who don’t need a party package for free. Our kids were having so much fun that once they ran out of tokens, they stayed and played on the jungle gym for another hour.
Use Coupons – Bring in those Chuck E. Cheese’s coupons and use them to purchase extra pizzas, drinks and tokens. Use the coupons to try out the newest menu items, like their thin and crispy pizza.
Dedicated Party Host – The party hosts at Chuck E. Cheese’s are amazing. They keep the party moving, get food on the table in a timely manner and are so helpful. Once our official party time was over, our host helped us gather all our belongings and move to a table in the non-party area of the restaurant. We hung out with friends for another two hours.
Help A Good Cause – This April, in honor of National Volunteer Month, Chuck E. Cheese’s is partnering with Big Brothers Big Sisters. Chuck E. Cheese’s is hosting a month long donation drive where guests can donate to Big Brothers Big Sisters just by mentioning the organization at the register. Guests who donate can also pin their name on the store’s wall. Funds raised will help Big Brothers Big Sisters match adult volunteers with children facing adversity. It’d be such a great way to teach kids how to give back to the community by hosting a party and asking guests to donate to the Big Brothers Big Sisters cause – or to make a donation in the birthday child’s name and pin it on the wall.
