Whimsical popcorn wrappers make a bag of microwave popcorn in to a movie night Christmas gift.

The cost of giving gifts to teachers, co-workers, neighbors and more can add up quickly. But I have the perfect solution! Give the gift of a movie night when you wrap a bag of microwave popcorn with a festive Christmas message and then give an Amazon Digital Entertainment Gift Card or a Red Box code.  The total cost for this fun gift is anywhere from $2.00 – $5.00. Super inexpensive yet a lot of fun to give and receive.

We have three different wrappers for the popcorn – a sweet polar bear…

To make the popcorn, simply cut out our free printable around the outer borders.  Lay the popcorn in the center of the wrapper.

Then fold the two ends of the wrapper around the popcorn bag and tape or glue together.

This is such a cute and easy gift especially when you pair it with a bottle of soda (or a jar of Melted Snowman Hot Cocoa) and a movie for an instant movie night! I have a tutorial on how to purchase Red Box movie codes in bulk you can check out for a Red Box code.   Another idea is to give include an Amazon Digital Entertainment Gift Card.  The gift card can be redeemed on Amazon. com to watch movies, TV shows, or even for music.

Most movies through Amazon run about $3-$6, which is a bit more than the Red Box codes, but the rental is for 48 hours and you never have to leave the house! If you go that route for the movie, then I’d get a $5 gift card for one rental.  The Amazon gift cards can be sent via email, through Facebook or even mailed so they are easy to send.
