It’s a new year and that means that the end of football season is drawing near and that, frankly, makes me sad. We love football and I’m never quite sure what to do on Saturday and Sundays when football season is over. One thing that makes me happy about the end of the football season is throwing a big party for the last game of the year. It’s our one last football hurrah.

Scallion-Bacon Ketchup
¾ cup Heinz Ketchup
4 slices of bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
¼ cup chopped scallions
1 Tablespoon bacon drippings
Splash of Worcestershire Sauce
Bloody Mary Ketchup
¾ cup Heinz Ketchup
¼ cup horseradish
2 teaspoons hot sauce
1 teaspoon celery salt
½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Five Spice Ketchup
1 cup Heinz Ketchup
2 teaspoons lime juice
2 teaspoons five-spice powder
Salt and Pepper to taste
Smokey Ketchup
¾ cup Heinz Ketchup
2 teaspoons smoked paprika
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Spicy Ketchup
1 cup Heinz Ketchup
1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 Tablespoon horseradish – the spicier this is the spicier your ketchup will be
2 teaspoons brown sugar
1 ½ teaspoons cayenne pepper – or more or less to taste
½ teaspooon garlic salt
