Celebrating our nation’s freedoms calls for some treats and I don’t know about your family, but mine enjoys sweet treats.  So, I have been on the lookout for sweet 4th of July treats.  Whether it is ice cream or chocolate your family will love these sweet treats.  There are a number of them to choose from so you’re sure to find something that you and your family will love.

Cherry Cheesecake Pie – Who doesn’t love cheesecake and this one is even red and white, which is part of the patriotic colors of red, white and blue.  You could add some blueberries and have the whole shebang!

Blackberry Yogurt Swirled Popsicles –  Want a cold treat instead?  These are perfect blackberries swirled with yogurt into a perfect popsicle.  The kids are sure to love these.

Themed Smore Bars –  These are themed smore bars that are red, white and blue.  Chocolate, graham crackers, and marshmallows are combined to create a sweet treat that everyone will be screaming for some more!

4th of July Apple Spice Cake with Caramel Glaze –  For something a little different try this apple spice cake with caramel glaze just the thought of caramel makes my mouth water.

Patriotic Bundt Cake – If you are looking for a true red, white and blue recipe this cake is the one.  It’s a swirl of yummy goodness.

Paradise Punch Pie –  Are you looking for a light and fluffy recipe?  This pie is literally a treat from paradise.

Red, White and Blue Mocktails – If you love strawberry daiquiris you will love this cool sweet treat.  You can make it a cocktail or a mocktail.

Rhubarb Strawberry Tart –  A little sweet and a little tart these rhubarb strawberry tart is a yummy treat!

Firecracker Kabobs –  This is got to be the cutest ones on the list.  They are definitely patriotic.
