Flip Your Script to Target Pharmacy and Target Gift Card Giveaway!

I jumped on the bandwagon of choosing a “word of the year” this year. I chose the word balance. In 2013 my life was anything but balanced. I worked all the time – way more hours than I should have and it took a toll on my health. So for 2014 my goal has been to balance my work with my personal life. I have to say that so far, I’m pretty proud of what I’ve done!

Part of achieving more balance in my life included eating better and exercising. In January I stopped eating wheat (gluten), sugar, caffeine and dairy. I started exercising on a regular basis. So far I’ve dropped over 20 pounds! But I still feel this residual tiredness that just wont’ go away. I finally headed to the doctor a few weeks for a check up and discovered a few issues (none serious!) and am waiting blood tests to see how to make myself feel better. But the doctor put me on blood pressure medication. It’s a major bummer and I know that with continued diet and exercise it will get lower, but I also know that I have a family history of heart disease. I’ll be 40 soon and it’s time to get the information I need to live healthier, more balanced life.

I have never been a regular medication and a monthly trip to the pharmacy is new to me. And if I’m going to the pharmacy every month, I want to get my money’s worth! Did you know that Target Pharmacy offers Pharmacy Rewards? For every 5 scripts you have filled at Target Pharmacy, you will earn a 5% off reward! Add family members to earn your 5% cerificate even faster. You can use that 5% off certificate for a day of shopping at Target. If you’re anything like me when I shop at Target, that 5% will come in handy.
