4 Fun Last Minute Gift Ideas for Kids from Target & a Giveaway!

I know you are out there.  In fact, I know some of you personally… Christmas is 2 weeks away and you haven’t started your shopping yet.  Now is not the time to panic!  Target asked me to head to my local Target store and check out some of my favorite gifts for kids!  I’ve put together 4 Fun Last Minute Gifts for Kids to help you get your holiday shopping done.

The One Spot Hello Kitty

Arts & Crafts:  The Dollar Spot is my favorite area to shop at Target.  I have scored some pretty sweet items at The Dollar Spot.  So this was my first stop to find last minute gifts for kids.  We have a huge Hello Kitty fan so this end cap caught my attention.  They also had great coloring books for $1. I picked up a Hot Wheels and a Hello Kitty one for my kids.  Pair with a box of new crayons and it’s a gift almost any kid will love.

Dollar Spot Fun Dough

Pretend Play with Fun Dough:  Also in the Dollar Spot, I found fun dough.  I love how it comes in colors for both boys and girls, too! Pair this with some cookie cutters and a small dough roller for a really cute gift.  My kids are obsessed with this stuff and love to cook us up all kinds of delicious food with their fun dough.

Target Flashlight Friends

The Popular Toy: Ah, the Flashlight Friends.  These are on the top of my kids Christmas lists to go along with the Pillow Pets and light up pets from the past few Christmases.  These would be great on their own and they are sure to be popular.  Just don’t forget the batteries.

Target Mix and Match Hoodies

Clothes:  Both of my kids, at ages 5 and 7, love getting new clothes.  You would think they’d prefer toys, but they love clothes just as much.  Mix and match a hoodie and a pair of pants for a cute outfit.  Add in a pair of fun socks and maybe a headband for a great gift.

My kids are older, but every year we get a family game at Christmas. We have bi-monthly family game night. So, I would get either Scattegories or Rummikub.
