Spring Cleaning Supplies

It is officially spring cleaning time!  Not exactly my most favorite time of year, but after all is said and done, I love, love having a sparkling clean house.  Yesterday I shared a printable spring cleaning checklist you can download to help keep track of what to clean in what room. But you can’t start cleaning until you have spring cleaning supplies.

10 Helpful Spring Cleaning Supplies

Cleaning Caddy – I actually have three caddies! I keep one in my laundry room, one under the kitchen sink and another one upstairs because we have two bathrooms up there.  Stock each caddy with cleaners, plastic gloves,  paper towels and the other supplies.

Spray Bottles – There are never ever enough spray bottles! Spray bottles are great for when you make your cleaning mixes or for breaking up larger bottles.  Just make sure you mark what’s in them. Not that I would know anything about that….

Plastic Gloves – I’ve been using plastic gloves in the kitchen forever, but just recently started keeping them in my cleaning caddies. They are an absolute necessity for cleaning bathrooms. I prefer disposable gloves.

Viva vantage

Viva® Vantage® Paper Towels –  Not all paper towels are up to the spring cleaning task, but Viva® Vantage® are!  These paper towels work like cloth so they can keep up with all the spring cleaning tasks.  Plus, the Choose-A-Sheet means you can pick the perfect size for any cleaning job.  I grabbed this pack at Walmart!

Mop –  We pulled out all our carpet a few years ago and replaces it with laminate flooring.  I had no idea how much dust and dirt we’d see! I invested in a steam mop to make cleaning a little easier.  If you use a traditional mop, make sure to grab a bucket.

Toilet Paper – Ok, so maybe this isn’t needed for spring cleaning, but this is a great time to stock the bathrooms.  As long as I was at Walmart, I grabbed a few packs of Cottonelle® CleanRipple and Scott® 1000 bathroom tissue and put them in the linen closet so we won’t run out.

Playlist – Don’t forget your jams! Nothing helps get cleaning done faster than some good tunes.  Amazon prime even has a spring cleaning playlist!
