Give Fresh Flowers for Christmas with The Bouqs

Now that winter has set in, and Christmas is just around the corner, many people have lots of green in their homes.  We don’t do a live Christmas tree because they dry out so quickly here in the desert, but we do up an artificial tree.  I also always pick up a few poinsettia plants on Black Friday to add a touch of color.  This year I added a fresh wreath to our decor to try and get that nice pine scent in the house.  The last thing on my mind was roses.

Then I was contacted by The Bouqs and asked if I would like to order flowers online through their website. Well, OK, if you insist! What really prompted my interest was their claim to send a fresh bouquet of flowers for a flat rate of $40.  Right.  I’ve tried ordering flowers online before and while the bouquet may start at $40, the shipping and handling charges usually double that cost.  But much to my surprise, the flowers really did only cost $40 shipped and it was really easy to order online.  It took about 5 days for my flowers to arrive, but the were worth the wait.

I’ve had my fair share of flowers in my life, but I’ve never walked in to my house and smelled roses.  The Bouqs claims that their roses are fresh from Ecuador.  Ok, big deal.  Uh, no – these flowers came from Ecuador! The return address on the shipping label was Ecuador and they were stamped with customs information.  They are so fresh and gorgeous.  I can tell they were pretty much cut, wrapped, and shipped to my door.  No sitting around in a warehouse for days so they just die within days of arrival.

I would give the Twinkling Lights Bouq to my parents. Why? Because it doesn’t require assembly. After bikes, dollhouses, racetracks, and so many other toys throughout the years, my parents deserve something that comes with No Assembly Required!

I want to send a Deluxe Volcano bouquet to my boyfriend’s parents. THey don’t need or want anything and flowers would be a nice gesture!
