I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Lutron. I received product samples to facilitate my review as well as a promotional item as a thank-you for participating.

It’s been about a week since we installed our new Lutron Maestro light switches.  As I mentioned, they only took about 10 minutes to install. We installed a Lutron sensor light switch with a dimmer in our upstairs hallway and a Lutron sensor light switch in our upstairs bathroom.  The lights turn on when someone enters the room and turn off a few minutes after the room is vacated. I am in love with these switches! I haven’t had to yell “who left the lights on?” once in a week.  Plus I haven’t made any extra trips up the stairs to turn off a light someone else left on.

Another bonus of the Lutron light switches  has been the elimination of night lights.  We used to keep a night light in both the hallway and the bathroom at night in case the kids needed to get up at night.  Of course the night lights never got turned off, were on all day and I was going through night light bulbs like crazy. We removed both night lights and the kids have been fine with the new Lutron switches turning the lights on for them.
