Iron Chef Mom Link Party

The big day is finally here!

Today is the inaugural Iron Chef Mom link party.

Our secret ingredient this week is… APPLES!

For some reason that I can’t figure out, we don’t really have any apples yet here in our lovely, it’s still 100 degrees out, desert oasis.  I can’t find any at the farmer’s markets.  The grocery store had them on sale and when I went to get some, they hadn’t received any!  I don’t get it, but maybe it’s too early or it’s the drought or this stupid heat.  Whatever the case is, we have peaches, but no apples!

Luckily, I have a few apple recipes already up my sleeve (phew).

Now, head over to this week’s host, Cheerios and Lattes, and link up your apple recipes and find out the secret ingredient and host for next week’s party!
