LOL! Yes, absolutely. Practice makes perfect and don’t ever be afraid to frog it and start over! That’s my favorite part about knitting — I can always just rip it back.

My grandmother taught me how to knit when i was really young. Every time that we would go visit I would get to do it and I was so excited about it. Unfortunately I have since forgotten how :(

I visited the shop and my choice was easy. My first grandbaby is expected early next year so a stocking kit would be perfect. I would choose Christmas Argyle or Snowstorm. Beautiful!

I learned to knit from my grandmother. we argued about everything except when we were knitting. Funny how being armed with knitting needles tends to make females more agreeable towards eachother. lol

I learned from my mother when I was 6 but I didn’t really get it.So then I went and tried it by myself an I learned:)

I was ten years old when my mother taught me to knit & I have been enjoying this pastime for many years now. I’ve made a lot of gifts for people.
My rafflecopter name is Julie G.

My grandmother tried to teach me to knit when I was very young but I was unable to figure it out. About four years ago I picked up The Knitter’s Handbook b y Debbie Stoller and taught myself. Since then I’ve made mittens, hats, a baby doll, washcloths and socks as well as various flat knitted projects. I have not yet tried Fair Isle but would love to get the kit for some Ivy mittens in green for my son.

I taught myself to knit the first year I was married. I made a fisherman knit sweater for my husband. Looking back on it, it probably wasn’t the wisest choice for a first project, but I did complete it!!

  12. marney says

I taught myself to knit about 10 years ago after finding a stash of knitting needles and yarn left by my aunt who had passed away.

  13. Karey says

I learned to knit from a free class at the library. I tried teaching myself but that didn’t go very well, so I took the class!

  14. Karey says

If I won I would use my gift card to get the Christmas Argyle Kit in dark green for my husband and in white for me!
